Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana saw their hopes of qualifying for the 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup finals disappear in front of them after losing 2-1 to Ethiopia in a crucial CAF Group A qualifier.
Bernard Parker, who put South Africa 1-0 up before the hosts equalised, netted an own goal in the second half, which gifted the East Africans the win.
