According to Soccer Laduma, Parker is itching to dethrone former Bafana Bafana striker, Benni McCarthy’s all-time goal record.

“I’m still as hungry as I was,” said Parker.

“I want to become the all-time top goal scorer for Bafana Bafana as well as help the team go forward and win.”

Parker is currently on 23-goals while McCarthy is on 32-goals.

“I got the assist for the goal against Zambia and I think that shows that I’m still hungry, still want to be here and want to help instil pride back into Bafana Bafana,” added Parker.
