According to KickOff, the defender admits that the spirit is high in the Bafana camp and believes that all the players want to win the game against Nigeria for the country.

“All the players have energy and they all want to go out there and play for the country,” said Ngcongca.

“We all believe we have a chance to play and that is good for the spirit because it’s what we need ahead of this crucial match.”

Ngcongca is aware of Nigeria being defeated by Congo and remains cautious of the African champions. He adds that home support is important and will likely be the 12th man on the night as Bafana look to win their first official match against the Super Eagles.
