Mphela: Cairo mission tough

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana striker Katlego Mphela believes the clash with Egypt on Sunday will prove to be a lot more difficult than their recent encounter in Johannesburg.

South Africa beat the Pharaohs 1-0 at Ellis Park in March thanks to a late strike from the Mamelodi Sundowns star.

However, Mphela is bracing himself for a much more difficult task as Egypt will be going all out for the victory on home soil.

"This will be a different ball game altogether," Mphela said ahead of the match.

"When they were in South Africa, they were playing for a draw but now they will need all three points so they will come at us relentlessly.

"The advantage there is that they might open up and we could be punishing them, but we should not be stupid and look for a win when we can see we can't get it.

"We are experienced enough to know which games we can win and which ones we can settle for a draw."
