Niger is second on the four-team log two points behind Bafana Bafana who have eight points. A win will see Bafana qualify for the African showpiece.
“We are facing a team that is emotional and believes that they can beat us. They have done well at home so we are facing a very tough battle against Niger in Niger,” Mosimane said.
“We are without a few key players. Steven Pienaar, KG (Kagisho Dikgacoi) and Davide Somma are not part of the squad. But we have the players; we have the ammunition to take on this team.”
“Since we have started this qualification we’ve been top of the group, and we have also not conceded a goal. So we have consistency and we want to maintain this.”
With the MTN8 semi-finals happening this weekend, Mosimane admitted that he is hoping and praying that players do not get injured. Ajax Cape Town, Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are the semi-finalists for this tournament.
