Modise: We can do it

Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise came on as a second-half substitute in South Africa’s 1-0 loss to Poland in an international friendly, in Warsaw, last week Friday.

Tonight Bafana will be taking on Kenya, at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi, and the Mamelodi Sundowns man is confident that they will come out of East Africa with a result.

The playmaker believes that with the quality available to coach Gordon Igesund, there is no doubt that they will be victorious in Nairobi. He said that they need to express their fighting spirit in order to win the encounter.

"We need to fight throughout the game. We have always done it and at times luck is not on our side, but tonight, I know we can do it. We have the squad that can do it and if we play the way we know we can play, then we can win tonight.

“We believe in each other and we will fight for our team and our country. We can do it, I tell you," Modise expressed.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
