Cape Town - After picking up a knock against Sudan, Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba is monitoring Andile Jali’s progress ahead of their encounter against Nigeria.

According to KickOff, Mashaba confirmed that Jali was “jogging all by himself” while the rest of the team continued to train together.
"He is currently being assessed by the medical team. I didn’t want to get involved with that. But it’s nothing serious, if there is anything we will let you know tomorrow," said the 64-year-old.
After Sibusiso Vilakazi’s brace against Sudan, Jali could easily be replaced with the Bidvest Wits captain who played a remarkable second half in Khartoum.
Mashaba however revealed that he won’t jump the gun on leaving Jali out of his starting XI.
“We have two more training sessions, come tomorrow we will give the line-up at 18:00. We can’t say whether he will start or not because we have the Jali issue to look at.”
