Manyisa: Bafana up for it

Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana midfielder Oupa Manyisa has revealed the squad are in high spirits as they prepare for their upcoming 2014 Soccer World Cup qualifiers.

Orlando Pirates playmaker Manyisa and his national team-mates are currently at a training camp in Rustenburg, with their opening qualifying match against Ethiopia scheduled for June 3.

And while Manyisa admits they know very little about their upcoming opponents, he is convinced the team has enough quality players to secure the results they need.

"I got here on Monday last week and I have enjoyed the sessions so far," Manyisa told Pirates' official website.

"The team looks good, we have some of the best players right now in the in the country forming part of the team and we are all confident of putting up a great show against them.

"I think what will be key against Ethiopia is the way we approach the game. They are an unknown team to us but we will have to be at our best and beat them at home."

Pitso Mosimane's men follow up their clash against Ethiopia with another World Cup qualifier, against Botswana, on June 9.
