That's all from our coverage from the AFCON 2015 qualifier between Bafana Bafana and Sudan!

What a result for the national team after a difficult time after the death of Senzo Meyiwa!

They did for Senzo in Durban today! Well done Bafana Bafana!

15 Nov 2014

That win means South Africa can travel to Nigeria knowing that their place at AFCON 2015 is secure.

A great 70 minute performance from the team with Furman, Serero and Rantie the standout performers.

After looking comfortable with a 2-0 lead, the national team took their foot off the pace as Sudan got back into the game.

It will be a day to remember for the team as they celebrate qualification to the finals of AFCON 2015.

The fans inside in the stadium seem confident and so they should be!

15 Nov 2014

Sudan hit the ball upfield and a penalty shout is waved away.

Heart in mouth moment as Khumalo gets the good news that he didn't give away a penalty!

15 Nov 2014

Three minutes left.

Yeye hits a shot well over!

15 Nov 2014

We are into the final four minutes of added time.

Serero off. He looks completely shattered!

15 Nov 2014

Sekola has been poor, he may not be ready for this level just yet.

15 Nov 2014

84' The clock is ticking away ever so slowly...

Keet collects from a Sudan free-kick. He looks calm but Sudan are pressing hard for a second!

It fizzles out as he waited for support to reach him.

He's had a great game!

Sudan have a free-kick in a good area!

15 Nov 2014

72' Big smiles for Shakes.

The camera pans to Mashaba who is smiling from ear to ear! And why not???

15 Nov 2014

71' The action is so pedestrian at the moment that the commentators are now talking about SA swimming sensation Chad Le Clos' wisdom teeth.

Snore!

15 Nov 2014

70' Twenty minutes to go...

Will there by any late drama or are Bafana off to Equatorial Guinea?

15 Nov 2014

68' Thulani Serero with another ambitious through ball.

He is thriving in a more central role and the team is as well as a result!

15 Nov 2014

68' And then attack bursts into life.

Rantie again making a run into the box but the keeper rushes out to put him off.

15 Nov 2014

67' The game has gone a bit flat now but Bafana Bafana are not worried.

The ball is being played around at the back with no Sudan pressure.

15 Nov 2014

61' It's all going according to plan in Durban.

What a great tempo that the team are playing at now.

Sekola misses a chance to grab a debut goal, his tame effort trickles to the Sudan keeper.

15 Nov 2014

60' Tokelo Rantie denied a penalty due to him fouling a player just before the keeper brought him down.

Good refereeing there by the Algerian official.

Sekola comes on to make his debut.

No Majoro or Erasmus means the young Free State Stars striker gets a run out.

15 Nov 2014

UGLY SCENES!

Anele Ngcongca reacts after a shocking challenge on him.

Two sides both get involved in a push and shove match!

Finally sorted out now.

15 Nov 2014

What a great goal from Rantie.

Superb run after a great pass from Serero but his finish is the most impressive thing I've seen from this game.

What a goal!

TOKELO RANTIE!!!

15 Nov 2014

TOKELO RANTIE!!!

52'  GOALLL!!!

15 Nov 2014

52' Ndulula's shocker continues...

Was very, very tight!

South Africa getting a good feel of the ball early on, stroking the ball around the pitch.

9'
South Africa win the first corner of the game after Manyisa threatened to break free of his marker.
10'
Serero skews the ball just wide of goal after a failed clearance from the corner.
13'
Furman looking great so far, while Serero is also impressing.
14'
Furman concedes a corner after a very skillful move from Sudan on the far side. The set play comes to nothing, though.
16'
Furman very involved so far, doing well to break up Sudan's play in midfield. Just the final ball missing for Bafana thus far.
17'
Keet called into action as Kosti fires a long-range effort on goal, but the Bafana stopper does well to get down and gather the ball.
19'
Rantie wins another corner as his cross into the area is blocked. Maghoub does well to gather from ball into the box.
22'
Serero tries to find Rantie with the through ball, but Maghoub comes off his line to gather.
25'
A good run forward from Rantie, he has the chance to play it across for an easy chance, but holds on to the ball too long and wins a corner instead.
27'
Furman at the centre of things again as he wins the ball and leads the break-away, but Sudan get the ball off Ndulula and clear the danger.
29'
El-Tahir with a shot from distance, but it's too high to really trouble Keet.

41'
Keet receiving treatment after a very late and high challenge from Bakri, no action taken by the referee, though.

45+2'
Maghoub on hand to make the stop as Serero fired another effort on goal from the centre of the area.
HT'
That's it for the first half. Bafana take a 1-0 lead into the break, but it's been far from smooth sailing for the hosts. Sudan yet to really trouble the South African goal.
'
Half-time substitute for Sudan: Omer Nasreldin comes on for Nazar Hamid.
Second-half'
The second half is underway.
46'
Quick start the half as Rantie gets a favourable bounce in the box and gets his shot away, but Maghoud is quick off his line to make the save.
50'
Sudan penalised for a foul on Manyisa. Khumalo takes the free kick, but it's cleared once again.
52'
South Africa have the ball in the back of the net once again, but Rantie was caught offside in the build-up.
53'
GOAL! Rantie makes it 2-0 after a brilliant run past two defenders before curling the ball into the back of the net.
56'
Things getting a little heated on the pitch between the players after Bakri left his boot in as Ngcongca cleared the ball.
57'
Bakri gets a booking for his involvement. Rivaldo Coetzee also gets a yellow, but not sure why, he might have said something in the scuffle.
58'
Ibrahim comes on for Tahir for Sudan, while Sekola makes his Bafana debut as he comes on for Ndulula.
60'
Maghoub brings down Rantie in the box, but the referee awards a free kick to Sudan as the Bournemouth man had already fouled a defender in the build-up.
62'
Sekola gets a shot away from the edge of the area, but can't get any real power on it and Maghoub gathers easily.

GOAL! Sudan pull a goal back, South Africa fail to head the ball clear from the cross and the ball is headed down for Ibrahim to volley home past Keet.
80'
Furman cracks a shot on goal from the edge of the box, but his effort is blocked.
82'
Where Bafana had been looking confident, Sudan seem a bit more of a threat after the goal, can the hosts hold on to secure their AFCON 2015 qualification.
83'
Goalscorer Ibrahim goes into the book for a handball.
83'
Mathoho now gets a booking for a foul on Ibrahim as the long ball was played forward for the Sudan striker.
84'
Mathoho is on hand to clear the ball as the free kick is played into the box.
85'
Rantie gets on the end of the throughball in the box, but can't quite craft a goalscoring opportunity and Sudan bring it clear.
86'
Into the last five minutes now, Sudan looking more and more of a threat. The ball falls nicely for Bakri outside the box, but he can't find a teammate to create a chance and Bafana clear.
88'
Letsholonyane comes on to replace goalscorer Thulani Serero.
89'
Sudan have the ball in the back of the net, but Ibrahim was offside in the build up. Bafana struggling to hold on here.
90'
A minimum of four minutes to be played at the end of the 90. Can Bafana hold on here?
90+1'
El-Tahir with a shot on goal, but it's straight at Keet, who gratefully clings to the ball.
90+2'
Sekola lays the ball off for Letsholonyane on the edge of the box, but he fires high over the bar.
90+3'
Contentious moment there as El-Tahir goes down in the area, fortunately for South Africa the referee waves play on.
90+4'
Sudan have a free-kick in midfield, it's taken short and pumped into the box. Bafana clear, but Sudan have the ball again. The ball is played to Ibrahim, but Furman is on hand to clear.
90+5'
The four minutes is up and Bafana have a free kick after a foul on Sekola, who is being stretchered off as a precaution. Surely that will be enough.
FT'
The crowd erupts as the referee blows the final whistle, Bafana Bafana have secured their place at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. Great performance overall, despite Sudan making for a tense finish to the game. For Sudan, though, the defeat means they are out of the competition with one more qualifier remaining.
