Khune responds to the haters

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana captain and goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has responded, via social media, to all those leaving "hateful messages"...

Appointed the captain for the match, Khune has come in for a lot of criticism after he gifted Aly Abeide the opening goal as SA crashed to a shock defeat.

Khune earns a 2/10 in Sport24 player ratings

A video of the incident has gone viral while social media has been littered with messages of fans roaring their disapproval of Khune's performance.

The latest player to captain the national team has now tweeted his response to the haters.
