Khune out for 4 weeks

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain and goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, will be out of action for four weeks.

According to the Kick-Off website, ‘Itu’ hurt his ankle during the warm-up for the CAF Champions League first leg match against Mozambican side Liga Muculmana.

Khune will miss Bafana's friendly against Brazil at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday (kick-off at 19:10) as well as the second leg against Liga Muculmana on Saturday, March 8 (kick-off at 18:00).

Khune is also in doubt for a number of Chiefs' remaining PSL matches.

Chiefs currently top the standings by nine points from Mamelodi Sundowns.
