Cape Town - Sibusiso Khumalo admits he is bitterly disappointed to have missed out on a place in South Africa's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations squad, but has still wished the team the very best in Equatorial Guinea.

The SuperSport United midfielder played a key role in Bafana Bafana's qualifying campaign last year, but an injury while playing for Matsatsantsa in December saw him miss their final four games of the year.
Khumalo subsequently fell out of the reckoning to miss out on a place in the 23-man squad, with Patrick Phungwayo instead earning a call, and the former concedes he is gutted to have missed the chance to represent his country on Africa's biggest stage.
"In our last four games [in the Premiership], I didn't play and that's why the coach [Shakes Mashaba] didn't pick me," said Khumalo.
"And obviously I'm feeling disappointed after playing in the qualifiers. Any player wants to play in these tournaments because you don't know who will be watching in terms of scouts.
"However, my message to Bafana is that they must go and make us proud like they did by qualifying.
“I, myself, am fully behind them and, since Shakes took charge, everyone has the hope that we can do well and I hope we surprise many people."
