Johannesburg - The security firm tasked with supervising the friendly between Kenya and South Africa are busy finalising their preparations.
According to the supersport.com website, the match will take place at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Tuesday.
“We have set up selling points which will be operational once the tickets are available,” said Mathius Olale, of security company Bob Morgan.
“The most important points will be at the CBD which fans can easily access. We are trying hard to avoid commotion and are liaising with all organisers to ensure that there is order during and after the match.”
Olale added that they aim to open more selling points in the suburbs.
“If time allows then we are going to open points in Kangemi, Kawangware, Kariobangi and Kibera so that there is no commotion in the city centre,” he said.
Meanwhile, acting Football Kenya Federation vice chairperson Robert Asembo has called on Kenyans to come out in their numbers next week.
“We want to assure Kenyans that all is taken care of concerning this game so they should come forward and support the national team,” he said.
“They [Kenyans] should come support us as we hope to take the country to the next level,” concluded Asembo.
