Keet leaves Bafana camp

Johannesburg - Goalkeeper Darren Keet has been given leave of absence from the Bafana Bafana camp to be with his wife, who is expecting their first child.

Keet will leave for Belgium on Saturday after South Africa's international friendly match against Cameroon at the Stade de L'amitie in Libreville, Gabon.

Kick-off is at 21:00 South African time.

Keet, who will start on the bench against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, is expected back in camp on Monday evening.

Defender Patrick Phungwayo will also bid farewell to his teammates after the match as he returns home to start treatment.

The Orlando Pirates left-back was withdrawn from the AFCON 2015 squad because of a knee injury.

His replacement will be named soon.
