Igesund opts for attack

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund named an offensive starting 11 to take on Central African Republic (CAR) in their World Cup qualifying match at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

Itumeleng Khune was given the captain's armband while Reneilwe Letsholonyane was included in the midfield.


South Africa:

Itumeleng Khune (captain), Bennett Nthethe, Anele Ngcongca, Morgan Gould, Thabo Matlaba, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Dean Furman, Bernard Parker, Thuso Phala, May Mahlangu, Tokelo Rantie.

Central African Republic:

Geoffrey Lembet, Kelly Youga, Salif Keita, Eloge Enza-Yamissi (captain), Romaric Lignanzi, Josue Balamandi, Fox Kethevoama, Francklin Anzite, Manasse Enza-Yamissi, David Manga, Nicaise Zimbori.
