Igesund makes minor changes

Auckland - Bafana Bafana coach Gordon Igesund had made three changes to his starting line-up for South Africa's international friendly with New Zealand on Friday.


Ronwen Williams comes in for Senzo Meyiwa in goal, while Siyabonga Nhlapo and Buhle Mkhwanazi replace the injured Thabo Nthethe and Erick Mathoho, who pulled out after news reached Australia last weekend that his cousin had passed away.

The midfield remains unchanged from Bafana's 1-1 draw with Australia on Monday, while Anele Ngcongca was named captain for the clash.

Bafana Bafana team: Ronwen Williams, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Anele Ngcongca, Buhle Mkhwanazi, Thato Mokeke, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Hlompho Kekana, Thuso Phala, Ayanda Patosi, Thulani Serero, Tokelo Rantie.

Replacements: Senzo Meyiwa, Sibusiso Khumalo, Bongani Zungu, Themba Zwane, Siphelele Mthembu.
