Bafana were coached by Pitso Mosimane in their first qualification match - which they drew against Ethiopia - and then by caretaker coach Steve Komphela who oversaw another draw, this time against Botswana.

Igesund however expressed his delight at Bafana's clinical 4-1 win over Botswana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

The Bafana mentor congratulated his side on their impressive performance against Botswana which ensured that they finish second on the Group A log.
