According to KickOff, Furman admits that Bafana Bafana are in a tough spot but he is excited about the prospect of going up against Africa’s best.

“It is without doubt very tough but also exciting at the same time. We are really looking forward to the tournament,” said Furman.

“We need to continue from where we left off in the qualifiers.”

The Doncaster Rovers midfielder says that Shakes Mashaba and the national team will be well prepared for the 2015 African showpiece to be played in Equatorial Guinea from January 17 until February 8.

“We will take some lessons from the qualifiers where we finished without defeat, and improve on them heading to the tournament. Good preparations will give us a head start to the tournament.”
