Free tickets for Bafana games

Johannesburg - Tickets for Bafana Bafana's upcoming practice matches against Zambia and Ghana will be available at Computicket outlets and Shoprite/Checkers stores free of charge.

South Africa will face Zambia in a practice/training match at 16:30 on Wednesday at the Rand Stadium here. Tickets for this clash are already available.

Only ten thousand tickets have been printed for the Rand Stadium affair and spectators will only be allowed one ticket each. More tickets will be available at the Jomo Cosmos offices near the match venue, as well as at SAFA House and at the SAFA Johannesburg Regional Office on Wednesday.

On Sunday, Bafana Bafana will face up against Ghana in another practice/training match at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Phokeng near Rustenburg.

Twenty-thousand tickets have been printed for this clash, and will be available from Wednesday at Computicket outlets, Shoprite and Shoprite/Checkers stores. More venues will be communicated at a later stage.

"While Zambia and Ghana are preparing for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, and South Africa is giving youngsters a chance and also increasing the pool of the national team, these matches are only for experimenting purposes for all the coaches, so they will be making unlimited substitutions as they fine tune their teams," said SAFA CEO Robin Petersen.

Gates open at 13:00 for both matches.
