Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs duo Eric Mathoho and Reneilwe Letsholonyane will miss Bafana Bafana's Africa Cup of Nations opener against Algeria through suspension.

Defender Mathoho and midfielder Letsholonyane have been ruled out of the crunch clash with Africa's top-ranked team on January 19 after picking up suspensions during the AFCON qualifiers.
Mathoho was shown a second yellow card in the 2-2 draw with Nigeria, while Letsholonyane was sent off in the same fixture after collecting two yellow cards.
According to CAF rules, any suspensions garnered during the qualifying campaign will carry over into the finals of the tournament, although singular bookings will not be counted.
