Booth: Dolly one hell of a player

Cape Town - Former Bafana Bafana defender Matthew Booth says that Keagan Dolly is one of the best players that he has had the honour of playing with.

Before Booth retired from the beautiful game, the 38-year-old donned the colours of the Urban Warriors and witnessed first hand how Dolly grew as a player.

The once Mamelodi Sundowns player says that Dolly is a player to look out for and sees a bright future ahead of him.

“I think Keagan Dolly is one hell of a player to look out for. He scored our goal in Harare," he told Sport24.

Dolly netted a goal against Zimbabwe in a 1-1 draw as the South African Under-23 side look to qualify for the 2016 Olympic games.

“I had the honour of playing with him in my Ajax days.

“He’s definitely got some Steven Pienaar in him, not only because he’s from Westbury like him. He is really talented on the field.

Amaglug-glug are set to face Zimbabwe in the second-leg on Saturday, August 1 at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
