Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana team management cancelled the national side's training session in Cape Town on Wednesday - three days before their crucial Soccer World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic.
The players were given a rest before starting their final build-up to the clash.
"The squad will resume training at the match venue on Thursday," team management said in a statement.
South Africa are third in their qualifying group with two points - two adrift of leaders Ethiopia, and one behind second-placed CAR. Botswana are lying bottom of the table with one point.
