Segolela oozes confidence

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Tlou Segolela is confident South Africa can complete the double over Congo when the sides resume hostilities in 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on Wednesday.

Bafana Bafana returned from west Africa victorious last weekend, with Shakes Mashaba's men recording a convincing 2-0 win to hoist themselves to the top of Group A.

The sides will once again lock horns this week, with the Peter Mokaba Stadium playing host, and Segolela is confident of securing another three-point haul.

“As a player, I know this is a game we want to enjoy because we won away and coming home, we have no pressure," he told Pirates' official website.

“We must be careful and play to win again, but looking at what the Congolese guys showed in Congo, I think Bafana will be ready again to stop them.

“I believe we can get another win,” added Segolela.

“In football everything is just about believing in yourself and your team-mates - you can see that the guys in the national team are like family; there is unity, and everyone is prepared to fight. I think we will be too strong for Congo in Polokwane.”

Kick-off for the encounter is scheduled for 20:05.
