SAFA president Kirsten Nematandani said: "I wish to stress here and now that we have signed an agreement with the Burkinabe Football Association to play a friendly game against them in South Africa on August 10."
"I know absolutely nothing about the said Jordan game."
Bafana Bafana was initially scheduled to play Nigeria on the same day, however the proposed international friendly fell through because of divisions with the Nigerian Football Association, after the match was agreed in principle with SAFA on 1st June.
SAFA was also interested in playing against Cote d'Ivoire when Nigeria withdrew, but the Elephants already had commitments with Israel.
The next high ranking African team was Burkina Faso.
