Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lindokuhle Mbatha is confident that Bafana Bafana will qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
Having played out to a 1-1 draw with Congo in Polokwane on Wedensday, South Africa are top of Group A with eight points, one ahead of Congo in second.
The 29-year-old Mbatha, who is currently sidelined by injury, believes without a doubt that Shakes Mashaba's side will make it to next year's showpiece.
Speaking to Football411, he said: ”We will definitely beat Sudan and Nigeria next month, because the boys are doing well at the moment.
"In my opinion I think it was not the best game but all that matters is we did not lose, maybe the bad weather also contributed. I am 100 percent sure that we will go through.”
Mbatha is taking his recovery one day at a time, and revealed he is edging towards a return.
“I am one or two weeks away from a full recovery and hopefully when I do I will have game time," he explained.
"At the moment we are busy at training preparing for our next opponent.”
