Tunisia finalise AFCON squad

Cape Town - Tunisia head coach Georges Leekens has had an easy task of selecting his final 23-man squad for the upcoming 2015 AFCON due to injuries.

Leekens was left with just 24 of his initial 27-man squad after Hertha Berlin midfielder Anis Ben Hatira and Lens striker Yoann Touzghar were forced to withdraw due to injury.

With just one player to cut from the preliminary squad, Leekens' axe fell on veteran Club Africain defender Yassin Mikari.

However, the Eagles of Carthage could still be forced into a change ahead of the tournament with news that striker Saber Khalifa is a doubt with a muscle injury.

Leekens, though, will give Khalifa as long as possible to recover before contemplating calling up a replacement.
