Shakes Mashaba's men are currently undergoing a training camp in the sovereign nation and most recently played out a 1-1 draw against Cameroon, who will also be Equatorial Guinea-bound this week.

Bafana Bafana will now have one last chance to fine-tune the squad before the start of AFCON 2015 this weekend as they face another potential tournament opponent in Mali, who secured their place at the finals after finishing second in their qualifying group.

Mashaba's side get their continental campaign under way against Group C rivals Algeria on January 19 and will be hoping to head into the game on a high, which victory over the Eagles would undoubtedly ensure.

The coach may choose not to risk Bernard Parker this week after the Kaizer Chiefs striker picked up a rib injury against the Indomitable Lions, but Rivaldo Coetzee and Tokelo Rantie should be back to full fitness after sustaining minor knocks in that game.
