Gyan returns against Algeria

Cape Town - Ghana coach Avram Grant makes two changes from his previous line-up as the Black Stars take on Algeria in Mongomo on Friday afternoon.

Captain Asamoah Gyan makes his first start for Ghana in this tournament as he comes in to partner Jordan Ayew in attack for the Group C match which gets underway from 6pm CAT at the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Also starting is Afriyie Acquah who comes in to replace Rabiu Mohammed in midfield alongside Agyemang Badu, Christian Atsu and Andre Ayew.

Ghana XI v Algeria: Razak Brimah, Harrison Afful, Baba Rahman, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Amartey, Afriyie Acquah, Agyemang Badu, Christian Atsu, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Asamoah Gyan.
