Bafana suffer Majoro blow

Durban - Striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has been added to South Africa's growing injury list, a gash to his left calf putting him in doubt for a crucial final group game in the African Cup of Nations.

Majoro scored Bafana Bafana's second goal in the 2-0 win over Angola on Wednesday, but needed stitches to the deep cut after being taken off on a stretcher in the final minutes.

The team said on Thursday that Majoro won't be rushed back into action.

The hosts face Morocco in their final Group A game on Sunday.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
