Bafana out to attack: Ngcongca

Johannesburg - Defender Anele Ngcongca believes that Bafana Bafana have what it takes to overcome Angola on Wednesday night, when the two teams meet at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

According to the snl24.com/soccerladuma website, both Bafana Bafana and Angola played to a goalless draw in their opening 2013 Africa Cup of Nations games, and will be looking for the victory in Wednesday night’s Group A clash.

Ngcongca said that a win in Durban will put them in a good position to progress to the next round and elevate the morale within the team’s camp.

“We are looking forward to tonight's  game. We have to take one game at a time and tonight it's Angola. All the teams in our group, including Angola, are good. We watched them on TV and they have a lot of good, experienced players.

“We learnt from the past match that we have to attack the team and open up their defence. We have to be a bit more attractive going forward and create some chances so we can score goals.

“We kept a clean sheet and we are all positive about the next match, nothing else matters more than a win. We need a win and that win will bring the confidence we need in the team to keep on going,” the Belgium-based defender concluded.
