Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic insists the international break will not negatively affect his preparations for the MTN8 final.
Amakhosi have seen seven first-team players called away by their respective countries ahead of this weekend's round of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Chiefs, meanwhile, have a mouth-watering Wafa Wafa final against Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates to look forward to next weekend, and Vermezovic insists he is not concerned by the players' absences.
"It will not be a problem for us because these guys are not in-active they are training with their national teams and they will play a competitive game so they will keep their rhythm," he told the club's official website.
"For us it is important that even though they are not with us they continue to work, and they are doing that which is good for us. Also we hope that they return to us without any injuries."
He added: "Playing for your country is an honour for any player it is a great achievement to be called up to represent your national team.
"My players are very professional and I know that they will not have a problem transforming their good club form into doing a good job for their national teams, in the last couple of weeks the guys have done very well for us and I hope they continue in that way."
