Cape Town - The Sharks have announced their coaching team for the 2016 Super Rugby season as they look to bounce back from what was a largely disappointing 2015 campaign.
Gary Gold oversees the team as director of rugby, and on Tuesday he named his staff.
Sean Everitt stays on skills and attack coach while Ryan Strudwick's debut season in the Currie Cup has earned him a spot in the Super Rugby setup as forwards coach.
Robert du Preez joins from the Leopards to work alongside Everitt on skills and attack while Omar Mouneimne, formerly with the EP Kings, French outfit Lyon and the Pumas, will look after the defence.
"A lot of work was done prior to the start of our pre-season campaign to assemble a skilled group of coaches, who we have no doubt will assist in improving our performances," Gold said.
"These gentlemen understand our unique culture and have brought in a much needed edge and energy to take us forward."
The Sharks finished the 2015 campaign in 11th place on the overall log.
