Refs for Springbok, Ireland series confirmed

Cape Town - The referees for the Springboks’ three Test matches against Ireland in the Incoming Tour in June have been named.

They are Mathieu Raynal of France, Angus Gardner of Australia and New Zealand’s Glen Jackson.

Raynal has been tasked with officiating the first of the three Tests between the Springboks and Ireland, in Cape Town on June 11, with Gardner and England’s Matthew Carley named as his assistants.

Gardner will take charge of the second Test in Johannesburg on June 18 with Jackson and Ben Whitehouse (Wales) by his side, while Jackson will officiate the third and final Test between the teams in Port Elizabeth on June 25, with Gardner and Whitehouse named as his assistant referees.
