Pau snap up Taylor from Toulon

Pau - Toulon's New Zealand utility back Tom Taylor on Wednesday penned a three-year deal with Top 14 rivals Pau.

Taylor, 27, who can play at fullback, on the wing, at flyhalf or centre, won three caps for the All Blacks and joined Toulon last season from the Crusaders, playing 13 times in total.

He will still be involved in Toulon's squad for the weekend's Top 14 semi-final against Montpellier.

At Pau, he will play alongside two fellow former All Blacks and World Cup winners, flyhalf Colin Slade and centre Conrad Smith.

Taylor is the ninth new recruit signed for next season by Pau's New Zealand coach Simon Mannix who will be assisted by forwards coach and fellow Kiwi, Carl Hayman.
