Johannesburg - The Lions have confirmed four warm-up matches as they prepare for the 2016 Super Rugby season.
The men from Johannesburg will face the Leopards, Valke, Bulls and Argentina’s Jaguares before their start their season-proper against Japan’s Sunwolves on February 27.
The games against the Leopards and Valke will take place on the same day (February 6), with a Lions training squad taking part.
The Lions will face the Bulls in Polokwane on February 13, before hosting the Jaguares on February 19.
Players recovering from injury include Ross Cronje, Ruan Combrink, Martin Muller, Justin Ackerman, Harold Vorster and Derick Minnie. Rehabilitation and recovery is on schedule for all players.
