Cape Town - The Golden Lions Rugby
Union has announced that Xerox has come on board as an additional
sponsor for Vodacom Super Rugby in 2016 and will take up a position on the
back of the Lions jersey.
Xerox is currently the
title sponsor for the Currie Cup.
Xerox and the GLRU have
had a long-standing partnership with the bodies first linking in 1993.
“We are very pleased
that Xerox hasdecided to once again put their on-going
trust in the Lions brand, this time on our Super Rugby jersey.
“We would also like to
thank Jonsson Workwear for their sponsorship over the last three years and
going forward to 2017. Both of these brands are an important cog in the Lions
wheel without whom the Lions will not be able to compete at the highest level,”
said Golden Lions CEO Rudolf Straeuli.
