Kankowski set for stint in Ireland

Cape Town - Irish club Ulster are set to announce the signing of Springbok loose forward Ryan Kankowski.

The 30-year-old Sharks backrower has also featured in Japan for the last three, playing for Toyota Industries Shuttles.

According to BBC Sport, Ulster are set to announce the signing of the 20-Test capped Springbok.

Meanwhile another South African, fullback Louis Ludik, is to sign a contract extension with Ulster.

The former Sharks star joined the Irish province in 2014.
