Folau, a vocal opponent of same sex marriage, ironically wed Tutaia on the same day Australia voted to legalise gay marriage last Wednesday.
According to the Stuff website, the ceremony took place before a select number of guests on a private property in Kangaroo Valley, around two hours south of Sydney.
Folau is sitting out the Wallabies' current end-of-year northern hemisphere tour.
Having lost 30-6 to England at Twickenham last weekend, the Wallabies will face Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 16:30 SA time.
