Hougaard to return for Bulls stint

Cape Town - Springbok Sevens star Francois Hougaard will return to the Bulls for a stint in Super Rugby, Afrikaans newspaper Rapport indicates.

Hougaard, who has a Springbok Sevens contract with SARU, will play in the Sydney, Las Vegas and Vancouver World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments before returning to the Bulls in March.

The 27-year-old is expected to play at least eight matches in Super Rugby, after the the Pretoria-based franchise reached an agreement with SARU.

Hougaard played 35 Tests for the Springboks in the 15-man code before setting his sights on Sevens last year.
