Cape Town - Springbok wing Bryan Habana says he’s happy to have extended his stay at French club Toulon.
The Top 14 side announced on Thursday that Habana had put pen to paper on a one-year contract extension.
Habana, who has won European and French domestic titles with the side, joined Toulon in 2013 from the Stormers on a three-year contract.
Following the announcement, Habana took to Twitter and wrote a message in French for his fans which translates to: “Happy to stay a little longer"
Habana has become a crowd favourite at Stade Mayol and the news will be welcomed by ambitious Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal.
The 33-year-old has played 124 Tests for the Springboks since debuting in 2004, scoring 67 international tries.
