Gatland releases Scarlets duo

Cape Town - Wales coach Warren Gatland has released Scarlets duo Scott Williams and Hadleigh Parkes making the pair available for the weekend's PRO14 action.

Scarlets host Benetton on Friday and will be boosted by the centre pairing's availability.

The midfield combination will return to national duty after the game and be available for selection for Wales' first game against Australia on November 11.

Williams, who has captained Scarlets in the absence of club captain Ken Owens in recent times, was called in to Gatland's squad as a late replacement for the injured Tyler Morgan.

Meanwhile, New Zealander Parkes will qualify for Wales on residency in time for the game against South Africa on 2 December.
