Frans Steyn replaces injured Cruden

Montpellier - Former All Blacks flyhalf Aaron Cruden will miss Montpellier's opening European Champions Cup match against Leinster on Saturday because of an injury.

Cruden, 28, sustained a thigh injury in training on Thursday to scupper his comeback from a previous rib problem.

The place of the 50-times capped New Zealander will be taken by Springbok utility back Frans Steyn, with No 8 Louis Picamoles back to skipper the side after missing the last three Top 14 games because of his own thigh injury.
