Fiji winger handed 10-week stamping ban

Paris - Stade Francais winger Josaia Raisuqe was handed a season-ending 10-week ban on Wednesday for stamping during his team's European Challenge Cup quarter-final win over Ospreys.

The 22-year-old Fiji star was yellow-carded for the incident which happened after just 19 minutes of the 25-21 win when he stamped on Ospreys winger Keelan Giles.

He was eventually sent off in the 51st minute of Sunday's match after receiving a second yellow card.

"Josaia Raisuqe has been suspended for 10 weeks following an independent disciplinary hearing in Paris arising from his club's European Rugby Challenge Cup, quarter-final against the Ospreys at the Principality Stadium," said a statement by the tournament organisers.
