Melbourne - George Ford will start at flyhalf with Owen Farrell at inside centre as the England team bids to create history in the second Test against Australia in Melbourne on Saturday.
Ford and winger Jack Nowell were reinstated on Thursday in the starting side as England chase a first-ever series win in Australia after stunning the Wallabies 39-28 in the first game in Brisbane.
"George and Owen playing together gives us two great kicking options and Jack is a high work-rate player," coach Eddie Jones said.
Jones said at this stage Ford and Farrell were England's best inside-backs combination.
"Their understanding for the game is absolutely outstanding. They have a great command of game sense and understanding and that's important in big Test matches," he said.
"They give us kicking options at (numbers) 10 and 12, they're good communicators and they give the team energy."
Jones said Exeter Chiefs winger Nowell will strengthen the team with his work-rate.
"I don't think there is any secret about how Australia are going to play and I think to have a high work-rate winger like Jack Nowell this week is going to be an advantage for us," he said.
The forward pack remains the same as the one that started the first Test last weekend.
But Jones has made some changes among the replacements with Saracens hooker Jamie George, Harlequins back-row forward Jack Clifford and Wasps centre Elliot Daly all included.
"We're physically fit, we're mentally ready to go and we're ready to play our best game on Saturday," he said.
"We have an opportunity to create history and we've left no stone unturned to make sure we do it, so we're really looking forward to the contest."
Back-rower and former captain Chris Robshaw will win his 50th England cap after making his debut against Argentina in 2009.
"We've picked a 23 to get the job done in Melbourne," Jones said.
"Throughout the week the players have shown they're desperate to wear the red rose which meant some close calls on selection.
"It's a 23-man match-day squad that suits the way we want to play at AAMI Park.
"Jamie, Jack and Elliot have shown huge desire this week and deserve their spots on the bench.
"I'm pleased with how we've prepared as the week has progressed. The players have recognised the importance of going up another level and have trained with a real intensity and purpose."
Jones, who coached the Wallabies who lost to England in the 2003 World Cup final in Sydney, said he wasn't totally satisfied with last week's performance.
"We know there's lots to improve on, particularly aspects of our defence and breakdown work, which we're confident we've remedied," he said.
"We know the job isn't done. We came here to win a Test series and that's what we intend to do. Australia will try and throw everything at us on Saturday and we'll be ready for the challenge."
