Donate to the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund

Cape Town - As another busy year winds down and we approach the season of giving, the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players Fund has encouraged their supporters to consider donating to the Fund which assists those whose lives have been dramatically changed on the rugby field.

The Players’ Fund has been the pillar of strength and support that seriously injured rugby players have turned to for 36 years. Over time it has been noted that far too often the players and their families are put under severe financial pressure due to the injuries and ongoing health needs. This often results in luxuries associated with the festive season just not on the priority list.

The Players’ Fund would like to appeal to all rugby supporters and all those who have run out onto the rugby field to open their hearts and by donating any amount help cover the costs of a small gift for every Players’ Fund recipient (105 individuals currently in SA). Whether it is R100 as an individual or a little more from a company, Rugby’s Caring Hands would like to appeal to those who also believe that no rugby player should ever be left on the side lines, especially during the festive season.

Visit https://www.thundafund.com/project/give to play your part in sharing a bit of Christmas cheer.

All donations will qualify for a Section 18A certificate.
