Brussow linked with English club

Cape Town - Springbok flank Heinrich Brussow will reportedly join English club Northampton Saints in 2018.

Brussow is currently contracted to Japanese club, the Docomo Red Hurricanes, but according to Netwerk24, the player has already informed them that he won’t be renewing his contract.

Brussow has been contracted by the Docomo Red Hurricanes since 2013, while his last appearance in Super Rugby for the Cheetahs was in 2015.

The 31-year-old has played 23 Tests for the Springboks, with his last Test coming against Argentina in Buenos Aires in 2015.

He is currently struggling with a groin injury and it’s uncertain when he’ll again run out for the Docomo Red Hurricanes.
