Bok prop in high demand abroad

Cape Town - Two top European clubs are reportedly eager to gain the services of Springbok and Stormers prop Vincent Koch.

Koch plays his provincial rugby for the Pumas but was loaned to the Stormers for last year’s Super Rugby competition.

He impressed so much for the Capetonians that he made his Springbok debut early in the year.

However, he failed to make the cut for South Africa’s final Rugby World Cup squad.

According to Netwerk24, French club Toulon and English side Saracens are both interested in signing the 25-year-old.

The finer details regarding their negotiations with Koch are unclear and he is expected to still form part of the Stormers’ Super Rugby campaign in 2016.

But his Currie Cup team, the Pumas, should not stand in his way should he opt to go overseas later in the year.
