All Blacks get new logo for Lions series

Wellington - A new monogram for the All Blacks jersey was revealed on Monday ahead of the British and Irish Lions tour which starts this week.

Adidas New Zealand tweeted a picture of the badge, which features the years 1904 and 2017 above and below the familiar silver fern with a shield-shaped border surrounding the design.

The first Test in New Zealand by a Great Britain side against the All Blacks was in 1904.

The full All Blacks jersey for the three-Test series is to be officially unveiled on Wednesday, the same day that the Lions arrive for their tour.
