Cape Town - Johan and his son Ruan Ackermann will face no further action from police after the alleged nightclub brawl they were involved in last December.
The father and son duo, who are with English club Gloucester, were implicated in an incident that took place in a Cheltenham nightclub.
Personal trainer Harry Allen, 24, opened up to Sport24 about the incident soon after, saying that he would be pressing charges against the coach and player.
Allen had said that he was punched numerous times and that he had been "body-checked" by Johan Ackermann.
However, after viewing the CCTV footage and investigating the incident, authorities have decided to not pursue any further action.
"A police investigation into a recent incident involving Johan and Ruan Ackermann has confirmed that no further action will be taken," the club said on its website.
"Having fully supported Johan and Ruan throughout this process, the club is delighted with the outcome of the investigation. Today's news allows everyone involved to move on and to focus on an important few weeks on the pitch in the run in to the end of the season."
