Cape Town - 1995 Rugby World Cup-winning flyhalf Joel Stransky does not want to hear any more apologies from Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer.
Stransky, who is in England commentating on the Rugby World Cup, was reacting to South Africa's shocking loss to Japan on Saturday via a video on his Twitter account.
"Quite frankly Eddie Jones was just too smart on reflection," he said.
"As good as Japan were, South Africa were woeful.
"Heyneke Meyer apologised after the game to the nation and I think, to be quite honest, we’re tired of hearing apologies.
"We want to know what went wrong from the coaching staff, from inside the camp and we want them to focus, knuckle down and come back now … sort it out and get back on the winning track.
"They’ve got one week until they take on Samoa and I promise you one thing now … Samoa will believe they can beat the Boks."
Stransky's video message:
What I think went wrong last night. No more apologies, focus now. @Springboks #RWC2015 #RWClive http://t.co/inBIkBi36d
